Christina Fourré

Christina Fourré grew up in Minnesota, the state that boasts the coldest metropolitan area in the continental U.S. Perhaps it is because of having to suffer through those frigid winters that the future veterinarian now finds solace in a 98 degree studio. Since she discovered m'bala, she is happiest in the soothing heat found in a hot yoga studio. Christina turned to m'bala to help relieve stress from her intensive school coursework, and she found a fitness class that was like nothing she had taken before. Not only did m'bala help relieve her stress, but she liked the workout so much she couldn't wait to get to the next m'bala "Going to m'bala regularly made me less stressed, left me in a better mood, and made me feel better about myself both physically and mentally than I had in a long time," says Christina. "It was the first workout that I had found where I was genuinely excited to go each and every She benefitted so much that after being an m'bala student for nearly two years she realized she wanted to help transform other people's lives in the same way - so she added the m'bala certification to her 200-hour yoga certification. It is that yoga base that allows her to make the most of the centering at the beginning and end of each class. Sandwiched in between that, though, Christina makes sure she includes a workout that is physically demanding enough that her students will push themselves beyond what they thought they were capable of achieving. Christina loves teaching m'bala so much that when she isn't out running with her dog, Joey, or enjoying a nice meal out with friends and family, she spends her time finding new exercises and building new playlists for her classes. Unfortunately, she often gets so wrapped up in her love of m'bala that she forgets she is supposed to be studying! Christina's friends and family have noticed how m'bala has changed her life and tease her by saying that when she heads off to m'bala she is going to her "happy place." Christina's response: "Who wouldn't want to create that experience for somebody else?"
